3-minute videos for the general audience
A set of short videos (about 3 minutes) has been recorded to describe to the general audience the research activities and the results obtained within the EXPERTISE project.
Second EXPERTISE Summer School 2019 – Samara Aerospace University
The second EXPERTISE Summer School 2019 took place in Samara National Research University, in Russia.
Over the period of three weeks (from July 14th to August 4th) we had the opportunity to achieve new fundamental knowledge and skills in
(I) Aircraft Engines Construction,
(II) Friction and Wear,
(III) Engine’s blade, disk and rotor dynamic.
Alfredo Fantetti (ESR4) - Secondment at Politecnico di Torino from 20 February to 20 April 2019
The first secondment of my project was in Politecnico di Torino, right after the Mid-Term Review in Barcelona.
My goal was to perform experiments with the friction rig in Politecnico and to compare them with the results obtained from the friction rig in Imperial College.
First Scientific Workshop and Mid-Term Review
From Feb 11 to February 14, the Mid-Term Meeting of the EXPERTISE Project took place in Barcelona (Spain), at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).
Skills for the Future
First Summer School
From July 4th through August 10th, 2018 the ESRs working on WP1, WP2 and WP3 are participating in the 1st Summer School hosted in London at Imperial College.

During the month of October, the first 6 ESRs have started their research activity within all the 4 Work Packages.
